Red River BBQ Battle set to be Best yet!   October is quickly approaching and that means it is time again for the Second Annual Red River BBQ Battle! This State Championship event will be held October 28th & 29th at the historical Santa Rosa Rodeo Grounds and host some of the best bbq chefs in the state! Come out Friday night for a Steak and Salsa competition for a 50/50 jackpot cash prize, followed by a concert featuring Over and Under, Blaine Gillespie, and our headliner Rodney Parker and the50 Peso Reward. Concert admission is $10 per person (BYOB). Saturday is filled with serious competition for bragging rights (and cash prizes) to the best chicken, brisket, ribs and beans in Texas! New additions to the event include a horseshoe and washers tournament all day Saturday and historical tours of the Santa Rosa Rodeo Grounds Anyone can enter any of the competitions, and we are in need of judges, so if you think you have a pretty good taste for BBQ, come out and put your skills to work!
