We are new to Lone Star, but eager to host our first cook-off, featuring Cabrito and Butter Beans! Can you put in a plug for our April 19 Cookoff, benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Bandera? We are on your calendar, more detail to follow, but in the meantime, we want everyone to know, Bandera bills itself as the Cowboy Capital of the World! And we do all we can to make sure it lives up to its reputation! We have more fun here every week than most folks have on month of Saturday nights!
Everybody loves coming to Bandera anyway, and this event promises to be a great one, on Spring Fling Weekend, with the 11th Street Cowboy Bar next door having two great Country Music artists: on Friday night, Jody Nix and his West Texas Cowboys will entertain, and on Saturday,everybody hold on to your hat, because the one-any-only Jake Hooker and the Outsiders will bring down the house! If you can’t scoot a boot to these two great bands, then you need to go back to “Noo Yawk City”!!! Check out the awesome dance floor at 11th Street – dance under the stars, beneath the trees, and have the time of your life!
Get yerself a goat, hitch up the cooker, shine up your dancin’slippers, move out down the trail to Bandera! We’ll see ya comin and roll out the welcome wagon!
