Kelly Says

As you can tell, if you are a regular visitor to the site, I seem to be lagging in updating this particular page. Those of you who know me will agree that I am seldom at a loss for something to say, but having the time to type it up does sometimes pose a problem. As a result, ya'll are all being deprived of new and interesting material to read here.

I have extended this request before, but received no response - so here we go again - PLEASE HELP ME OUT -

I would love to have thoughts, ideas, stories, lies or any other interesting things to post on this page. I would prefer bbq or cookoff oriented anecdotes, but almost anything rated G or PG will do as long as it is interesting. Everyone out there has a funny tale to tell, or just offer your perspective. I do reserve the right to edit anything that might show me in a bad light, but ANYTHING about Harvey G. will do - I may even embellish a bit to make it sound REALLY GOOD. We can even change the names to protect the innocent (although finding the innocent among this bunch of folks could be a difficult task!)

We are in trouble... 
 
 The population of this country is 300 million.  

160 million are retired.

That leaves 140 million to do the work.

There are 85 million in school.

Which leaves 55 million to do the work. 

Of this there are 35 million employed by the federal government.

Leaving 15 million to do the work.

2.8 million are in the armed forces preoccupied with killing Osama   
Bin-Laden.

Which leaves 12.2 million to do the work.

Take from that total the 10.8 million people who work for state and city 
Governments. And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals

Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.   

That leaves just two people to do the work

You and me.

And there you are,

Sitting on your ass, 

At your computer, reading jokes. 

Nice, Real nice.
